BAD IDEA
Can I buy the moon and charge image rights?
No, you can't buy the moon or charge people for its image rights—space law says it's public property, not your private monopoly.
Despite what lunar dreams might suggest, the moon isn't for sale. The 1967 Outer Space Treaty, accepted by most countries, including the big space players, declares celestial bodies as the common heritage of mankind. So, no 'moon deed' or 'image rights' contract will hold up in any real court. Charging people for pictures of the moon sounds like a scam with about as much gravity as a balloon in zero-g. Dream bigger—just not literally with lunar real estate.
