BAD IDEA
Can I skip work claiming I'm unwell because of the heat?
You can claim it, but expect your boss to ask for proof or think you're dodging. Heat alone rarely passes as a legit sick day.
Skipping work just because you're feeling hot might seem tempting, but it's a flimsy excuse. Unless your workplace recognizes heat-related illness officially or you have a medical note, bosses usually expect a legitimate health issue, not just sweating. Better dial it up only if you’re truly incapacitated, or prepare for awkward questions and possible consequences.
